I felt like I really ought to read it. I wanted to read it. I thought it couldn't hurt to get a better feel for what's already floating around out there in the way of public perception, jargon, and professional expectations.
It was a fun read, sort of a flight of fancy for Barton Biggs, who wrote about just about whatever was on his mind, it seems.
